My Journey
What do you care about? What’s most important to you?
Family and friends are at the centre of my universe. Being present as a husband, father and brother is very important to me. With regards to my “business family”, creating an environment where each member is able to learn and grow makes everyone better.
Where have you been?
I grew up in London, Ontario, with my mother, father and two older sisters. From a young age, I excelled at sports, eventually swimming through high school and University. I had difficulty applying myself at school and fell far short scholastically, of my athletic achievements. Eventually, I managed to attain an Honours Bachelor of Political Science degree from McMaster University in 1996.
Shortly after graduating from University, I began a career in Policing, which lasted 18 years. Policing however, never satisfied my desire to feel successful and so in 2015, I resigned and incorporated Hanlyn Property Management. I have NEVER looked back.
Where are you going?
As a business owner, I am driven to create a company culture beyond that of any other property management company in the world. The team we have created thus far is incredible and the foundation is there to support exponential growth. My desire is to lead the Hanlyn team to extraordinary levels and to create an environment where everyone learns, grows and experiences success.

About Us
Hanlyn Property Management is a locally owned and operated property management firm in the Greater Hamilton area. We provide reliable and affordable property management services to small and large investment property owners. We work hard to elevate the rental experience for both tenants and investors.
What problem are we solving?
At Hanlyn, we believe the cornerstone of property management is the placement of suitable and responsible tenants. We take great pride in placing the best tenants that the market has to offer.

What is the hallmark of our culture?
At Hanlyn, we never lose focus on the fact that at the end of the day, our primary focus is to deliver the best rental experience possible for our tenants. We accomplish this, in part, by never losing sight, or taking for granted, the human component in how we conduct ourselves as professionals. The reason we do this is simply because we believe that operating in such a manner is of enormous benefit to all involved, including our investors. At Hanlyn, we ultimately recognize that approaching our business from a position of empathy allows us to establish, and foster, the productive relationships required between ourselves, our tenants, and inevitably, the clients.
