I am a lifelong learner. I love documentaries, podcasts, webinars and conferences. I also love to share my learning through great conversations and engaging presentations. I would love to see more organizations become healthier by focusing on the people side, where meaningful work for everyone involved can help them find their ikigai – the intersection of what the world needs, what they love, what they are good at, and what they can be paid for.

Simply put, Honeyflow is that sweet spot of time when nectar sources are in abundance and the weather is ideal – allowing bees to accelerate their creation of honey within the hive. The coaching work I do with my clients is quite similar. Through our partnership, we create the ideal conditions of time, resources, and support to allow them to bring their talents to the world and create the business of their dreams.

In the digital age, knowledge is no longer power because knowledge can no longer be controlled. Content, “facts”, courses and credentials are everywhere. Colleges and universities have done little more than double down on teaching, and have missed the fact that learning is now power. The Learner, not the Teacher, is now in charge. Those who understand this transition and work to benefit from it, will have a much better chance of reaching their goals. This requires an ability to lead oneself, and my book outlines the ideas and techniques, backed by the evidence, to make this happen. It is not easy, and the path is not the same for everyone, but anyone can learn self-leadership. And those who don’t will continue to be led around by the priorities of others. So I encourage people to ask themselves, “Who’s Leading You?”
